In CA.......

It was a bunch of fun being in CA. It is totally different living in a small house with just on brother, then going to California and living in a big house with a big family. It was very exiting being with the Hubbard's, I never had a dull moment with them around. I'll tell a little bit  of all the things we did while I was there.

WATER....... Some of the kids went out side and played in the water for a couple of hours. Michael, Daniel, David, Timothy and Thomas were all on the boys team. Rebbecca, Racheal, and I made up the girls, kind of unfair don't you think.

As you can see Michael went on the roof and got us all SOAKED..... that was really unfair because we could not get him wet back.

Thomas with his water gun. :-)

David did not get wet at all. I even tried getting him wet several times.

The fight is on... Daniel is trying to get the hose away from  Rachael, and she's trying to get him wet.

HERE COMES MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!
I even tried warning her that he was coming, but she still ended up soaked. :-)
The Girls totally lost, but it was totally worth all of it.
Just you watch out Michael, I'll get you back. :-)

EASTER
We all went out and looked for eggs. There was even bags of candy with every ones names on it.

Psalms 117:2

Be still and know I am God

Every year mom has a ladies retreat at our church. This year it was called Be Still And Know I Am God. Mom had her Cousin Jen come and be the speaker for the ladies this year. It was wonderful. Mom dose a awesome job putting every thing together. But by the time it's all over mom is exhausted. I'm so glad mom gets to do this for the ladies, she loves it so much.

Cousin Jen also brought along four of her girls, Melissa, Heather, Rebbecca, and Rachael. It was wonderful having all of them come. They were a big help, and their help had mom a little less stressed. Thank you girls for coming I had an awesome time with you guys.

Mom wanted all the windows covered so the church would be dark. Rebbecca, Heather, Rachel and I had a horrible time getting the paper to stick to the windows. Finely dad just tapped them to the window sill. I wish someone had videoed us trying to get it up. It was so funny.
Every one working.
And others just standing around giving advice.

The tables after they were finished.

Dad made candles for all the stairs. It was so cool when it was all dark and every candle in the church was light. It gave you have a peaceful feeling.
Every year mom has a game at the begining, when every one is showing up, to ask questions and get to know others around you.

Mom did not want anyone to see the kitchen before it was completely ready. So one of the girls were to stand and guard the door. But it took three girls, C.J., Jennifer, and Bre.You guys did great job. HA HA :-)
Heather (playing the Harp) and Melissa ( playing the Cello) played their interments through dinner. It was so calming and wonderful. They did an amazing job.
Melissa, Bre, Jennifer, and I, sang Bow the Knee as a special. Sorry the picture is so bad. The lighting is all wrong.

Mom had a fashion show. It was so funny. What we were wearing was all play on words.  Heather is wearing a slip over her dress for a "slip over shirt" and  flowers on her dress for her "bloomers" and a "hand" bag with hands all over a pures,  Rebbecca, which you cant see, has on a shirt with a ton of "T's" on it for a tee shirt, and "Jim" written on a her shoes for gym show. Kyla had on on a tea dress, with tea bags all over it.It was the cutes of all of them. Bre was in a gown with colored balls for her "ball" gown... and so on.
This is what the upstairs looked like. That would be my dog Goliath in the picture.

God really blessed the ladies retreat this year. After that was all done, I went home with Cousin Jen and the girls to California for a month, for Melissa's wedding. Oh and if you got confused, we had two Melissa's and two Jennifer's at the retreat.  We also had two Abigail's and two Rebecca's.
